Vanta Admin is a website for showcasing the Vanta Admin Django admin theme, including features, release notes, installation guides, documentation, and an interactive demo of the theme.

Data we collect

Vanta Admin only collects the data needed to run the website and provide the newsletter.

• Newsletter email address: if you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored so updates can be sent to you.
• Email messages: if you contact us by email, we receive the information included in your message.
• Basic technical logs: the website host, server, email provider, or security systems may automatically process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, request time, and error logs. Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored in the Vanta Admin Django database. Emails are sent using Mailtrap.

Newsletter emails are used only to send Vanta Admin updates, such as release notes, theme updates, design notes, and project announcements.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in the emails you receive.

Analytics

Vanta Admin uses Plausible Analytics. Plausible is designed to be privacy-friendly and cookieless. It does not use tracking cookies and does not track users across websites.

Analytics are used only to understand general traffic and improve the website.

Embedded third-party content

Some Blog articles may load native third-party content from YouTube, X, and Reddit. When you view an embedded item, your browser makes a request to the relevant provider. That provider may process information such as your IP address, browser or device data, cookies, referrer, or similar technical information under its own privacy policy and terms.

YouTube embeds use its privacy-enhanced mode through youtube-nocookie.com, and X embeds request do-not-track behavior. These settings may limit some personalization or processing, but they do not remove the browser request or the possibility of third-party processing.

Cookies

Vanta Admin does not intentionally set tracking cookies. The public site uses Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless. The interactive demo uses essential session and CSRF cookies so it can protect requests and keep your temporary workspace private to your browser.

Interactive demo

The Vanta Admin demo is an interactive Django admin environment with fictional seeded data. Each browser receives a private temporary workspace so you can explore real admin workflows, including searching, filtering, creating, editing, and deleting demo records.

Demo changes are disposable. A workspace expires after inactivity or can be replaced when you start fresh, and its data is not connected to the Vanta Admin website, newsletter, or any production application.

Use fictional demo data only. Do not enter personal, confidential, or production information into the demo.

How we use data

Data is used for the following purposes:

• to operate and maintain the website;
• to send newsletter updates to subscribers;
• to respond to emails;
• to understand general website usage;
• to prevent abuse, debug errors, and improve security.

Data sharing
